A community growing together, one season at a time.
"A garden is a friend you can visit any time." — Kahlil Gibran
La Tercera Garden is a community garden in Petaluma, California, re-established in 2024 after many years of abandonment. A collaborative project of the City of Petaluma, it brings local residents together to grow their own produce in a healthy, shared environment.
Our plots grow everything from salad greens and garlic to strawberries, artichokes, and flowers.
We meet informally throughout the season and gather for community breakfasts, workdays, and summer events. New members are welcome — spots open periodically from our waiting list.
Receive our monthly newsletter with gardening tips, seasonal recipes, and community updates. Optionally, sign up for occasional SMS reminders for garden events.
